Winter Yoga Retreat

Join Victoria and Sean for a weekend of yoga magic at The Five Arrows Hotel in Waddesdon.  With its gorgeous beams and oak flooring old Coach House will provide the setting for an intimate weekend of Forrest yoga, ceremony and bodywork.

This special retreat will create an opportunity for you to shore up your spirit ahead of the busy festive season, to take time for yourself before you fill the cup of family and friends. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with yourself and recognise what truly and deeply nourishes you.

You will be supported explore your foundations through different practices over the weekend. These will include ceremony, meditation, bodywork and Forrest yoga practices, expect our evening class to follow a slower and more restorative pace to move us towards deep relaxation. Suitable for all levels, Forrest yoga is an inspiring, grounding, and physically strong practice designed to address modern-day ailments such as lower back pain, tension in the neck and shoulders, anxiety, over-stimulation, and a sense of disconnection from ourselves.

Built on four pillars; breath, strength, integrity and spirit; the practices will guide you through breath work, core exercises and intelligent sequencing, to release tension, connect to feeling, and build strength, flexibility and awareness in the body.

Expect to experience postures unique to this style, hold the poses for a little longer and connect with yourself with compassion and curiosity

With the Waddesdon National Trust grounds at our doorstep and the incredible cuisine of the talented kitchen team at the Five Arrow, all your senses will be nurtured over this weekend retreat.

Friday
17:00 opening circle ceremony, meditation and introduction to Forrest yoga

14.00 – 17.00 Free time to explore the grounds/Bodywork

Sunday

08.00 Morning meditative walk to Windmill Hill

9.00 – 10.00 Breakfast

11.00 – 13.00 Yoga

13.00-14.00 Lunch

14.00 – 17.00 Free time to explore/Bodywork

16.00-18.30 Closing Ceremony

1-2-1 Bodywork sessions are available throughout the day during free time

The weekend includes

Please bring with you

  • Yoga mat and props (block, strap, roll/beach towel)

  • A cosy blanket

  • Notebook and pen

  • Comfortable walking clothes/shoes
