Head Chef
Head Chef Matthew Butcher has been an integral part of our team for nearly a decade, bringing a wealth of experience from prestigious establishments such as Le Manoir and The Bath Priory, as well as running his own pub. His culinary expertise shines through in a handcrafted menu that celebrates local produce in inventive and exciting ways.

Beyond his passion for food, Matthew is also a skilled woodworker, with his craftsmanship visible throughout The Five Arrows, from bespoke afternoon teapas boxes and fudge trays to elements in our kitchen garden. Alongside his talented team, Matthew works tirelessly to deliver vibrant and memorable dishes to your table.
